Australian stars including Amy Shark and Delta Goodrem pay heartfelt tribute to late music mogul Michael Gudinski at the Music From The Home Front ANZAC concert

Australian celebrities have paid tribute to late music mogul Michael Gudinski at the Music From The Home Front ANZAC day concert in Melbourne on Saturday.

A crowd watched on as Amy Shark, Vance Joy, The Rubens, Tash Sultana, Budjerah, Lime Cordiale, Mia Wray, Bliss N Eso and country star Kasey Chambers performed.

Meanwhile, Crowded House, Jimmy Barnes, Delta Goodrem and The Kid LAROI also pre-recorded performances from around the globe.

Lead singer Sam Margin from The Rubens wore a white T-shirt with 'MG' written on the front in honour of Gudinski, who originally organised the event to commemorate Anzac Day before his death.

Following his performance, he said: 'Michael Gudinski changed the music industry forever, he made Melbourne what it is today, we miss him so much.'

Gudinski's daughter Kate also told the audience: 'Thank you Dad for making tonight happen … he would be absolutely beaming if he was here.'

Delta Goodrem put her own spin on John Farnham's You're The Voice, and was also joined by her boyfriend and guitarist Matthew Copley.

Speaking to The Courier Mail during filming, Delta couldn't contain her excitement as she planned to perform an Australian classic at the concert.

'You're The Voice is one of my favourite songs of all time. I've played John Farnham songs pretty much my entire life, so it's a total honour to sing this,' she told the publication.

She also went on to speak about the importance of the televised concert, which was originally orchestrated by the late music mogul.

Delta continued: 'It was such a hugely important show last year for the whole music industry.'

At the event, Vance Joy also told the crowd: 'Thanks Michael for dreaming it up, it's so awesome to see it on this scale'.

Bliss N Eso's new single Good People also played along with visual tributes to the late music mogul.

For the concert's finale, Ben Lee and Gordi along with Royal Melbourne Scrub Choir performed We're All In This Together.
