Peaky Blinders star Sophie Rundle gives a loving look as her Easter baby gets a kiss from his father Matt Stokoe
It's their little Rundle of joy! Peaky Binders star Sophie Rundle and fellow actor Matt Stokoe looked smitten with their new son as they enjoyed a day in the sunshine last week.
As these heart-warming pictures show, Matt at one point gently lifted up the baby before planting a loving kiss on his head.
Earlier, Sophie gazed adoringly at her son as she pushed him in a trendy Uppababy Vista pram, which costs around £1,000.
‘They both looked overjoyed with the baby,’ said an onlooker. ‘They seemed to be loving life.’
The couple’s first child was born over the Easter weekend, although they have not yet revealed his name.
Earlier in the week, Sophie, 32, shared a picture of her new son on Instagram. In the caption she wrote: ‘Our little boy, who arrived safely and happily over the Easter weekend and changed the game forever. My little egg. My overflowing, grateful heart.’
Sophie and Matt, who met five years ago on the set of Sky One drama Jamestown, wore similar denim outfits for their stroll in London and hid any hint of sleepless nights behind sunglasses.
Jamestown co-star Max Beesley was among the first to congratulate them, writing on social media: ‘Welcome to the parent club. It’s the most important gig we’ll ever get.’
Before parenthood, the couple last appeared together in the horror film Rose: A Love Story, which Matt, 32, also wrote.
Sophie returns to our screens later this year in the second series of period drama Gentleman Jack, reprising her role as Ann Walker opposite Suranne Jones’s Anne Lister, as well as returning as Ada Shelby in the sixth and final series of gangster thriller Peaky Blinders.
