Absolutely awful news coming out of Los Angeles, as Lakers superstar forward LeBron James has been ruled out for the season with a torn BDH.

The news was broken on Twitter by ESPN reporter Adrian Wojnarowski early Thursday morning.

Obviously, this is absolutely huge news not just in terms relative to the famed Lakers, but to the NBA as a whole, as this changes the dynamics of what will happen comes the postseason.

It sounds awful to say, but in secret, franchises like the Brooklyn Nets, LA Clippers, and the like, all have to be somewhat happy about this, as taking LeBron James off the table with a torn BDH makes the road to a title far easier.

As for The King, the timetable for a return from a torn BDH is truly insane and complex to discuss. After all, a torn BDH is actually a byproduct of LeBron’s own greatness.

According to a doctor Woj spoke with, the Lakers legend can be out for over 12 months with this injury, and that doesn’t factor in the idea that most players who suffered a torn BDH in the past usually retire from sports immediately rather than attempting a return.

Nonetheless, for those unaware, the BDH isn’t a body part every person on the planet has. It’s usually only reserved for males, but even then only a small percentage of the population has the luxury of worrying about possibly tearing it.

I guess this is what we all get when we’re talking about an April Fools’ Day joke post about LeBron James tearing his… ugh… Big Dick Hanging.

    Go Lakers?
