The Wiggles former couple Emma Watkins and Lachlan Gillespie reunite for a fun dance video during tour of New Zealand after shocking fans with their sudden split

They shocked fans when they announced their sudden split back in 2018.

But The Wiggles stars Emma Watkins and Lachlan Gillespie are still on very amicable terms, and reunited for a fan dance video this week.  

The 31-year-old children's entertainer shared clips of herself and her ex-husband, 35, showing off their moves during a dance challenge on Thursday.  

In the video, the pair bounce up in the air crossing their legs as they move their hands from side to side. 

But Lachy appears to loose his footing and instead does a shoulder shimmy, as Emma laughs at his failed attempt.

She wrote in the caption: 'Tauranga Twinkle Toes ✨ Lachy and I attempting this.'

Fans went wild over the post, praising the pair for their continued friendship despite their divorce, including one who said: 'you two are friendship goals'.

A second wrote: 'I'm glad you two are still friends.' 

The former couple are currently touring New Zealand with The Wiggles, which is their first overseas tour since the Covid pandemic.

Emma and Locky surprised with world when they announced their split back in 2018. 

They had tied in the knot 2016 in an intimate ceremony at Bowral's Hopewood House in the NSW Southern Highlands.

The pair joined The Wiggles in 2013, and began dating just weeks later and managed to keep their romance a secret before going public in 2015.

Since the split, Locky has moved on with ballerina Dana Stephenson as of 2019.

The couple become engaged in April 2020 and welcomed twin daughters Lulu and Lottie, in September. Dana also a son Jasper, four, from a previous relationship.

Emma has also moved, finding love with Wiggles' musician Oliver Brian, 32, since late 2019.
