Emma Bunton suffers with working mum guilt as she balances work life with her family
Spice Girl Emma Bunton has revealed how she suffers with working mum guilt while raising her children.
The 45-year-old mum-of-two told the Not Another Mummy podcast that she often wonders whether she is "doing the right thing" in relation to her work/life balance.
She told the host that she didn't realise that as soon as Beau, 13, and Tate, 9, were born she would be questioning whether she was at home or work enough.
"All those things go through your head but I love being a working mum. I love my kids watch me have this work ethic.
"I work hard but I also do make sure that weekends are precious. I love watching my little boy play football, my other little boy goes to dance classes.
"If I can be there for the important things, the simple things, the bedtimes, the storytelling, the cuddles, the kisses. I am so lucky."
Baby Spice also admitted that partner Jade Jones, 42, is ready for the pair to have child number three.
However, the Wannabe singer isn't so keen on the idea and has previously said she isn't sure whether the couple will have any more children.
Talking to Clemmie Telford's Honestly podcast in January, the star said both her kids had also asked for a younger sibling at Christmas.
Emma said: "Both my kids have asked for a baby this Christmas. I am like: "It's not happening!" They are desperate for another sibling."
She did joke though that while she feels bad for spending time away from the family, her "ovaries skip" every time she sees a baby.
She continued: "I have had two beautiful, healthy babies. So yeah... I am not going to do it again, I don't think, it is a big ask!"
Emma and Damage singer Jade first got together in 1998 before splitting a year later. Despite getting back together the pair once again split before becoming an item again in 2004.
They announced their engagement in 2011.
