Montaigne releases Eurovision clip for Technicolour after performing at the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras
Singer-songwriter Montaigne performed her single Technicolour at the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras over the weekend.
And the 25-year-old, whose real name is Jessica Alyssa Cerro, is now set to perform the track at this year's Eurovision Song Contest.
In the lead-up to the international competition, she has released a clip from her Mardi Gras concert, which was filmed at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

Montaigne will travel to Rotterdam, in the Netherlands, in May to perform in a Covid-safe arena as Australia's representative at Eurovision.

She offered a glimpse of what was to come when she took to the stage at the SCG on Saturday, stunning in an all-white ensemble comprising a tight white top and trousers, a metal choker and boots.
Montaigne sported a vibrant orange buzz cut, and her dramatic makeup consisted of multi-coloured dust on her her eyelids and winged eyeliner.
Technicolour was written with Eurovision in mind and features a catchy chorus.
Montaigne co-wrote the song with Sydney-based songwriter and producer Dave Hammer, who has worked with Lime Cordiale and Thundamentals.
Last year, Montaigne beat the likes of Vanessa Amorosi, Casey Donovan and Jack Vidgen to perform at Eurovision.
Despite the competition being affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, SBS confirmed in March that Montaigne would still be representing Australia in 2021.
'I'm so happy to receive this good news during such times,' she said at the time.
'At home, we've started this ritual of cracking open a fortune cookie daily and reading our fortunes to each other and I got one that read, "You will be sharing great news with all the people you love."
'I'm so glad it came true!'
Australia has long been obsessed with the Eurovision Song Contest, but wasn't allowed to submit an artist until Guy Sebastian performed in 2015.
Since then, the likes of Dami Im, Isaiah Firebrace, Jessica Mauboy and Kate Miller-Heidke have represented their country in the competition.
