Bill Bailey and Emily Atack will appear as celebrity panellists on Stacey Dooley’s new BBC game show.

The documentary maker is the host of This Is My House, a series created by Dooley and radio DJ Richard Bacon.

The game show’s premise is simple: four people walk into a house and all declare that they own the property, with a team of celebrity judges tasked with working out who’s telling the truth.

If the panel correctly guess which of person is telling the truth, the home-owner will win a cash prize.

Strictly champion Bailey and presenter and actor Atack will appear on the show’s panel, along with comedian Jamali Maddix and Loose Women’s Judi Love.

Speaking about his appearance on the show, Bailey said: “This Is My House is a great show and I am delighted to be taking part. I think it’s a lot of fun, something that everyone needs at the moment, and I’m sure viewers at home are going to love playing along.

“I consider myself a good judge of character, so I hope I’ll be able to spot the liars from the real home-owner and help win them some money.”

This Is My House will air on BBC One this spring.
