Celebrity Cosmetic Dermatologist Dr. Paul Jarrod Frank opens new PFRANKMD Downtown Location

Renowned Celebrity Cosmetic Dermatologist Dr. Paul Jarrod Frank is expanding his esteemed PFRANKMD practice and brand to a Downtown location on Perry Street, in the historic West Village.

This 4,000 square foot bespoke aesthetic healthcare center was built out entirely and transformed with custom detailing to truly encompass Dr. Frank and the PFRANKMD brand. The facility will have eight spacious treatment rooms and will include all of Dr. Frank’s signature treatments and technologies for skin tightening, fat removal, skin resurfacing, and injectables. Cosmetic treatments are performed by licensed healthcare providers including physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and registered nurses and will be an extension of his Upper East Side location.

The Downtown location includes an expanded retail space and wellness offerings for future brand partnerships. With the goal of merging a residential feel and doctor’s office-practicality, Dr. Frank commissioned renowned Gachot Studios, known for their design of hotels, retail boutiques and private interiors. Every interior detail was custom-made to bring the brand to life including the furniture, lighting and metalwork.

The lighting was executed by expert, Nathan Orsman. Key elements include dark wood, earthy textures and warm tones paired with modern metal and organic stone detailing, symphonized with pops of PFRANKMD’s signature red wine tones. Upon entering, patients will be transported into a Tom Ford meets Paris’ Left Bank-inspired space.

Located on the ground floor of a landmark building, the brick exterior and private cobblestoned street bring a European feel, while the original red window frames coincidentally match the PFRANKMD brand color and logo. The space, once a car showroom, features large garage doors in front that bring a unique touch and old-school feel to the exterior.

Dr. Frank opened his original Upper East Side location in September of 2001, just before 9/11. Now, 20 years later, he is expanding during another challenging time in the city and feels inspired to help rebuild his beloved city by creating jobs and new business opportunities. The uptown PFRANKMD will remain the same boutique, upscale cosmetic surgical center, while the Downtown location will unveil the next generation of beauty and wellness offerings.
