Younger creator Darren Star promises 'one last rollercoaster ride' with the drama's seventh and final season to premiere soon on Stan

Liza Miller's story is coming to an end.
The comedy-drama series, about Liza, a 40-year-old divorcee who pretends to be much younger in order to land her dream job, is set to debut its seventh and final season on Stan.
And on Thursday, the streaming service dropped a brand new teaser featuring an introduction by star Sutton Foster and creator Darren Star.

In it, the Sex and the City executive producer said he was 'looking forward to taking fans on one last roller coaster ride this season.'
At the end of Season 6, Liza finally had her secret uncovered and her true age revealed.

And Liza's love triangle with young tattoo artist Josh and Charles, her older publisher boss, found another gear when Charles proposed to Liza.
The final season, which will be comprised of 12 episodes, arrives on Stan on June 13.
Younger originally premiered in 2015 and was based on the 2005 book of the same name, which was written by Pamela Redmond Satran.
The series follows Liza Miller, a 40-year-old who is mistaken for a much more youthful person and decides to play along, changing her life in the process.
Sutton Miller stars in the leading part, along with Debi Mazar and Hilary Duff acting in supporting roles.
Also appearing in the show are Miriam Shor, Charles Michael Davis and Nico Tortorella, among others.
Younger has consistently received positive reviews since its first season aired, and a book based on the show was published in 2018.
The news about Younger's end has been public since September last year, when the show's creator noted that the writing team was 'unofficially' planning on finishing with its seventh season.
The 59-year-old writer also confirmed that the onset of COVID-19 would be a major plot point in the coming episodes, although he told TVLine that 'a lot of episodes were written' before the global pandemic began.
Star also added, 'I do think we’re looking forward to incorporating [the circumstances of the pandemic] into the action as the season progresses.'
A spinoff series centered on Hilary Duff's character Kelsey Peters is currently in development.
The seventh and final season of Younger will premiere June 13 on Stan
