Apple could FINALLY launch the iPhone accessory we've been waiting for

It seems fair to say that MagSafe, Apple's new magnetic charging tech for the iPhone 12, didn't get off to a great start. From wallets with weak magnets to damage-prone cases, the company didn't seem to hit its familiar design bullseye with MagSafe. But a rumoured new accessory could help the tech come into its own in 2021.

A new report suggests Apple is working on a battery pack designed to magnetically attach to the back of the iPhone. It's a concept fans have been crying out for since MagSafe was announced – indeed, anything that can make one of our best camera phones last even longer can only be a good thing.
