It’s 2021 and after missing out on some of our favorite activities in 2020 a lot of people are hoping to get back to some type of normalcy. Sports have been slowly bringing fans back into stadiums but what about music concerts? Brian Slagel, founder and CEO of Metal Blade Records joined Inside Access to discuss the future of concerts.
Brian joined Jason and Ken to talk about how the pandemic has impacted the music industry, when he believes fans could return to concerts and will mosh pits be a part of concerts going forward. Brian told the guys that he’s hopeful that we could get back to fans at concerts by the summer.
Brian mentioned that the vaccine will have a lot to do with the decisions made regarding concerts as well. When asked about the future of mosh pits, Brian said that he doesn’t anticipate mosh pits no longer being a part of concerts.
It’s safe to say that fans are hoping to spend some time at a few concerts this summer.
