Kate Gosselin sells the Pennsylvania home she filmed the TLC reality show Kate Plus 8 for $1.1 million

• Gosselin, 45, put the home up for sale in October for just under $1.3 million, though it sold in late January at just under $1.1 million, according to The Sun
• The reality star purchased the home in 2008 for $1.1 million when she was still with her husband Jon Gosselin
• The TLC show Jon & Kate Plus 8 debuted in 2007, following the couple raising their twins Cara and Maddy, now 20, and sextuplets Aaden, Collin, Joel, Alexis, Hannah and Leah
• The couple split in 2009, with the show renamed to Kate Plus 8, following her divorce with Jon as she continued to raise her eight kids.
• The show ended after just two seasons in 2011, though Gosselin returned in 2014 for four more seasons which ran through 2017 

Nearly 14 years after Kate Plus 8 made her a household name, Kate Gosselin has finally sold the home she filmed the show in.

Gosselin, 48, sold the home for $1.085 million on January 25, according to The Sun, just three months after she listed the home at an asking price of $1.299 million. 

She bought the home in 2008 for $1.12 million, while she was still married to Jon Gosselin, before they split in 2008 after 10 years of marriage.

The home sits on 23 acres of private land in rural Wernersville, Pennsylvania, just outside of Reading, Pennsylvania, surrounded by a lush forest.

The six-bedroom home door comes with oak and cherry hardwood floors throughout, along with an, 'expansive gourmet chef's kitchen with large kitchen island and stainless appliances including three ovens, six burner gas stove top and two dishwashers.

There is also a, 'large formal dining room with gas fireplace, tray ceiling and crown molding and ample built in storage and display cabinetry.

The bedrooms include a 'super-sized first floor master with huge tiled bath,' along with, 'four recently remodeled junior suits with ensuite baths. 

Outside the home there is a, 'breathtaking 850 square foot maintenance free TimberTech composite deck with outdoor kitchen and inlaid slate tiles for fire pit and spiral staircase.'

The deck overlooks the, 'beautiful salt water pool and spa combination with twisty waterslide, the super-sized first floor master with huge tiled bath, four recently remodeled junior suites, with ensuite baths with pencil tile accents and granite floor tiles.

Other amenities include, 'family room with separate entrance and large built in entertainment storage center, lower level game and family room that opens to the covered patio and pool, with large custom shelved storage room, and lower level man-cave nearby,' plus a , 'laundry room with built in organizational system includes two washers and two dryers.'

Jon and Kate were married in 1999 and they made headlines in 2004 when Kate gave birth to sextuplets - Aaden, Collin, Joel, Alexis, Hannah and Leah, four years after Kate gave birth to twins Cara and Madelyn.

They burgeoning family first appeared on the NBC home reality show Home Delivery, where their first home was renovated after the sextuplets were born.

They were then featured in a pair of specials on Discovery Health, and after they both delivered high ratings, they signed the couple up for a show that would be called Jon & Kate Plus 8.

The show ran for five seasons between 2007 and 2009, with the Season 5 premiere amassing a whopping 9.8 million viewers, the highest in TLC history.

After Jon and Kate announced their split, the show was changed to Kate Plus 8, which debuted in 2010 and ran for six more seasons between 2010 and 2017.
