West Ham are reportedly set to rival Tottenham for Sampdoria winger Mikkel Damsgaard.
The 20-year-old has produced some impressive performances this season and there is interest in him from various clubs.
As reported by La Republicca, West Ham are eager to secure a deal for Damsgaard, who is usually deployed on the left wing but is also capable of playing in midfield.

Juventus are also considering a move for the Denmark international, while Southampton and Leeds have also been linked with him.
So far this season Damsgaard has scored two goals and provided four assists in 21 Serie A appearances.
Damsgaard made his breakthrough into senior football at Nordsjaelland before making the switch to Sampdoria in February last year.
The prospect still has over three years remaining on his contract at Sampdoria.
However, he could be tempted by the chance of playing in the Premier League.
