JASMINE Harman is a regular fixture on our screens having presented Channel 4's A Place in the Sun since 2004.

Who is Jasmine Harman?

Born in Hackney on November 15, 1975, Jasmine Harman is a presenter, radio presenter, property expert and writer.

She is the eldest of seven children.

The star has two half siblings on her father's side, and one half sibling on her mother's.

Jasmine has Greek-Cypriot ancestry and many of her family members live in Cyprus, while her closer family reside in England.

Before making a foray into television, Jasmine had a career in health and fitness and is a qualified fitness instructor.

Jasmine has presented A Place in the Sun with Jonnie Irwin since 2004 and they have filmed over 200 episodes together.

Harman is also a regular on BBC Radio Kent where she joins PJ and Harris for the Sunday Supplement.

What other TV shows has Jasmine Harman appeared on?

Away from the Channel 4 lifestyle series, she fronted the BBC One documentary Britain's Compulsive Shoppers in August 2014.

She was a presenter on the programme The Truth About Your Teeth which was broadcast on BBC One in June 2015.

Jasmine presented the second series of Collectaholics on BBC, she took over from Mel Giedroyc who hosted the first series in 2014.

Is Jasmine Harman married?

Jasmine is married to Jon Boast, who works as a cameraman. 

He has worked on several TV shows, including A Place in the Sun, Antiques Roadshow and a number of programs for the Hairy Bikers and Kirstie Allsopp.

"I met my husband Jon on my first A Place In The Sun," the property expert told The Express magazine. "We did a pilot in South Africa, but when I filmed my first show for the series in Portugal, he was the cameraman.

"I wouldn't actually say it was love at first sight, it was more of a slow burn. We met, became great friends and then we fell in love," she told The Sun.

The couple tied the knot in June 2009.

The family live in a 1930s house in Carshalton, South London.

Does Jasmine Harman have any children?

The couple have a daughter named Joy and a son named Albion. 

Jasmine previously opened up about her difficult journey to get pregnant on the Made by Mamas podcast.

“I had a few issues, with an ovarian cyst, they call it tumour, but it was completely benign. They wanted to check that before I could go for IVF,” she revealed.

Jasmine was only in her early thirties at the time, but admits panicking over having enough time to have children.

“At that point, I was like ‘why did I leave it so late, why was I not fussed about having kids’.

“I was two weeks off my 38 birthday when Joy was born. So it was from the time I decided I wanted to do it, to the time I got pregnant was six years.”

She added: “At the time it felt there was a bit of stigma and I didn’t want to talk about it publicly … it really meant a lot when I was trying to get pregnant to do so naturally and I had acupuncture, health supplements and did all these different techniques because I really wanted to get pregnant naturally.”

Eventually, Jasmine went ahead with IVF, but luckily it went well and she only had to do one cycle to get pregnant.
