Tottenham striker Troy Parrott to cut loan spell at Millwall short to join Ipswich Town for remainder of the season as Irishman searches for regular first-team minutes
Troy Parrott is poised to join Ipswich on loan for the rest of the season after Tottenham cut short his temporary spell at Millwall.
Exciting Irish striker Parrott, 18, joined Millwall for the season in August.
But Spurs recalled Parrott as they wanted him to continue developing as a frontman though he was often been used as a winger by the Lions.
Ipswich had previously been linked with Nottingham Forest’s Will Swan before making their move for Parrott.
Swan is instead set to join Port Vale or Fleetwood on loan today after Glenn Murray’s arrival paved the way for him to be allowed to make a temporary switch from The City Ground.
Swan, 20, a prolific scorer at youth level for Forest and during a loan spell at Truro City, has made two appearances for the first team this season.
