Two more Cleveland Browns players tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday, bringing the teams total number of positive cases to five, according to Cincinnati.com.

This news comes a day after the Browns found out that an unnamed assistant coach and practice squad center Javon Patterson tested positive.

The team had to shut down its facility and change their schedule on Thursday in order to complete contact tracing.

One of the new positive tests was already on the team’s COVID-19 list due to being in close contact of someone outside the organization. The two new cases will join starting linebacker B.J. Goodson and free safety Andrew Sendejo in sitting out the team’s season finale against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Tight end Harrison Bryant and safety Karl Joseph were also added to the list earlier in the week due to being deemed close contacts.

The Browns are on schedule to activate wide receivers Jarvis Landry, Rashard Higgins, Donovan Peoples-Jones and KhaDarel Hodge and linebacker Jacob Phillips from the COVID-19 list on Thursday. The group sat out last Sunday’s 23-16 loss to the New York Jets due to being in close contact with Goodson.

The Browns enter their game against the Steelers in a win and get in situation. A win over the Steelers will clinch the first playoff game for Cleveland since 2002.
