'Honestly we just hit it off,' Pulliam said.

'We had a lot of downtime; there was a lot going on filming that project. So there were times where we would all be sitting in the cast seats or the van just talking.'

Knight Pulliam was previously wed to former NFL star Ed Hartwell, but the union was short-lived.

They split just months after their January 2016 wedding.

Perspective: James and Knight Pulliam were both previously married, but she said 'I think it¿s better when you¿ve been married before because you¿re very clear in what you don¿t desire. It makes it so much clearer when you see what it is you do want'

James was also previously married.

But Keshia sees their pasts as a strength, telling People: 'I think it’s better when you’ve been married before because you’re very clear in what you don’t desire. It makes it so much clearer when you see what it is you do want.'

James is well known for his role as Todd in Tyler Perry’s sitcom For Better Or For Worse.

He has also appeared on Netflix's Outer Banks and on the UMC series A House Divided.
