How to complete Fortnite Quests in Season 2 of Chapter 5

The Fortnite quests have received an additional expansion this week, with a new set of Cerberus' Snapshot Story quests centered around the mythical canine god, which you can jump straight into as they are unaffected by your progress through the Oracle's or Aphrodite's existing challenges. There are also more sections of Elements quests rolling out, which you'll have until May 3 to complete when that pass ends. Of course, there are still plenty of separate tasks available in the standalone experiences of Lego Fortnite, Rocket Racing, and a new season of Fortnite Festival.

Don't overlook them, as they provide a significant amount of additional XP during Fortnite Season 2 to speed up your progress through the Battle Pass. Alongside the Snapshot storyline quests, you can take on Kickstart quests showcasing the fresh mechanics introduced this season, plus the retooled daily quests (Match), overall progress quests (Milestones), and classic Weekly quests that now arrive in a complete set instead of in sections.

The Week 7 quests involve travelling around the island to visit five Landmarks and emote at three different Named Locations, as well as interacting with the various consoles to accept eight different SHADOW Briefings. You'll also need to deal 800 damage to opponents with a Tactical Assault Rifle or a Gatekeeper Shotgun, and as always the Team Rumble mode is a great place to rack that up.

There are certain Fortnite quests that will get ticked off through natural gameplay and don't require attention, but we're here to help with the ones that need specific knowledge or actions to clear. Completing quests is a lot easier these days now we no longer rely on Fortnite characters to distribute them, so if you want to know what you need to do for that sweet XP boost, then check out the quests section of the main menu – or the pause menu – and you'll find them all clearly laid out, with the option to track your progress on a specific challenge. Keep completing quests and you'll earn massive amounts of XP across the entire Fortnite season so you can unlock fresh rewards – and who doesn't want that? Here's everything we know about the latest Fortnite quests.
