SoCal St. Patrick's Day forecast: Partly sunny conditions with some snow in the mountains

If you're heading out to celebrate St. Patrick's Day on Sunday, expect partly sunny conditions for most of the day, but there will still be some snow in the mountains.

St. Patrick's Day forecast in SoCal

In Los Angeles and Orange counties, you can expect partly cloudy conditions with an afternoon high of 69, though there is a slight chance of some drizzle.

The valleys and the Inland Empire can expect similar conditions with a high of 69, but there's a 20% chance of some drizzle.

Beaches will see a high of 65 degrees with 2-4 foot surf and partly sunny conditions are on tap.

Mountain communities could see 1-2 inches of snow at elevations above 6,000 feet. The afternoon high is expected to reach 46 degrees.

Deserts will see a mix of clouds and sunshine, with a 10% chance of showers and a high of 69.
