Little Baja: Authentic Pottery Impresses in the Heart of Las Vegas

Rachel Pintarelli

(Las Vegas, NV) Sitting with friends, chatting over dinner, my husband and I mentioned our need for some well-crafted, authentic yard accents for our new home. My heart's desire has been hoping to add some vibrant Mexican pottery to the entry area and luckily our friends had the PERFECT suggestion.

Right there on West Ford Avenue in Las Vegas we stepped into a virtual wonderland of vibrant, authentic pottery as far as the eye could see.

We took a breath on a hot, sunny day as we plotted out our walking path through the vast span of land filled with pottery, handmade metal sculptures and beautifully crafted fountains. But that was truly just the beginning. Well beyond the beauty of the pottery offered by Little Baja, there is an enormous selection of other items for home, both indoor and outdoor. From hand blown glasses, to wall decor...even hand-crafted furniture, my brain was swirling with the possibilities. This establishment is an incredible resource for those searching for something a little bit different.

And if you are one of those "little bit different" folks, then Little Baja is absolutely the place for you. Aside from endless aisles of gorgeous pottery and metal sculpted cactus yard adornments...there's some extra special pieces that I just had to capture photos of because of the pure grandness and artistry.

Whether you have a love for Buddha (me) or a love for gargoyles (my husband), Little Baja has it ALL. Literally every type of fountain, stoneware, roman inspired pedestals, statues, every bit of the property covered with anything you could possibly imagine. I found myself having to catch my breath as I wandered the yards taking in all the sites.

There’s a small building in the center that houses the home décor and smaller items, as well as the furniture. It was a lovely haven from the hot sun that was competing for my attention as I my eyes tried to focus on the hundreds of beautiful pieces laid out before me. My husband and I were approached by a helpful woman who shared they offer a local’s discount and handle full delivery and set-up of even the heaviest, most complex pieces.

Once we are ready to make our purchases, Little Baja in Las Vegas will absolutely be the one stop shop for us when it comes to our yard décor (and some house décor too!). Don’t miss out and go give them a visit at 3033 West Ford Avenue or visit their website at
