Sarah Jessica Parker Stuns on Every Red Carpet She Walks! Take a Look at Her Best Met Gala Outfits

The evolution of Sarah Jessica Parker‘s fashion goes way back, but nothing seems to be more impressive than the star’s annual Met Gala looks. The Sex and the City actress isn’t afraid to go all out at the New York City ball, the place where fashion has no limits.

Over the years, we’ve seen SJP don some of the most incredible creations that not everyone could easily pull off. Somehow, the beloved star not only wears some of the most mind-blowing and dazzling ensembles, but she looks better than ever while showing them off.

Sarah especially knows how to work the red carpet. Whether she’s rocking it solo or attending alongside a date, including husband Matthew Broderick, the Hocus Pocus alum has proven herself time and time again to be a true fashion icon.

Considering the Ohio native is the owner of her famous shoe and clothing line, JSP by Sarah Jessica Parker, it’s no surprise fashion has always been a huge passion for her. Though the And Just Like That … actress has become known to her fans as a style guru, she actually “never intended” for that to be the case.

Speaking with L’Officiel Brazil in July 2020, Sarah opened up about her relationship with fashion. “I look around for inspiration,” she shared, adding her best piece of advice. “I think the important thing is to feel good about yourself, to be authentic, without being afraid of being unique.”

The Emmy-winning star also talked about confidence, saying although it’s crucial to have self-esteem, it’s also important to acknowledge that some days are harder than others.

“I consider it a luxury to be free, not to be afraid of looks and to believe in yourself,” she shared. “But I think that a crisis of confidence from time to time is not so bad. It feels good to be challenged, nervous and to lack confidence sometimes. Confidence and insecurity can be a useful combination.”

The fashionista did not attend the Met Gala in 2021 and neither did her good friend Andy Cohen, who usually accompanies her to the event. The television personality explained why he and Sarah were skipping the festivities in an August 2021 interview with Access Hollywood

“I’m taking a year off. My date is filming this year,” he said. “She’s filming And Just Like That…”
