On Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla, Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) reacted to President Joe Biden finally saying there is a crisis at the southern border. “This is probably one of those instances where the old Joe kind of came out and he’s probably been watching the situation and thinking this is a mess and we need to get in behind it. And so he chose to use the word crisis. And I’m sure there was some ranting and raving in the West Wing of the White House when they said, oh, no, he said the crisis word, but it is a crisis. And having been down there, it is absolutely pathetic. It is an environmental crisis. It is a humanitarian crisis. It is indeed a national security crisis. They have apprehended people from 55 different countries so far this year. They have people that are on the terrorist watch list. They have MS-13 gang members, all that have been apprehended this year. Now, those are the ones we know about. And if we know about those, there are equal numbers or maybe more that have gotten away that we do not know about. What we do know is that the cartels, which, by the way, they’re very sophisticated businesses, they have total control of the Mexican border.”
