Two Rhode Islanders will compete in the prestigious U.S. Open Pickleball Championships next month, which will be held in Naples, Florida, from April 13-20. Danielle Fians from Narragansett and Lynn Leblanc of South Kingstown will compete in the age 50-54 women’s doubles 3.5+ skill range amateur bracket. With a total of just under 5,000 players registered for the tournament, there are 10 doubles teams in the Rhode Island pair’s section.
