Cavs fans ... taste it ...savor it ... Your team won an epic Game 7 – Terry Pluto
CLEVELAND, Ohio – The game has been over for a while, and in my mind I can still hear the fans chanting “LET’S GO CAVS.”. Close your eyes: You can still see the fans standing, stomping, waving white towels. Use your imagination: You can feel Rocket Mortgage...
Daycation Destination: Mingle among the koalas of the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo
Pittsburgh’s Highland Park neighborhood is home to the Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium, but a daycation trip to another zoo in Cleveland offers encounters something one can’t visit in Pennsylvania — koalas. Only nine U.S. zoos offer koala exhibits and Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is the closest to Pittsburgh...

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Mayor Justin Bibb’s college roommate, who landed a high-ranking city job in March, lied about his involvement in a 2015 Washington D.C. police case in which he was accused of violating the constitutional rights of two senior citizens. I fear eventually suffering with dementia -- or having a president who does: Leslie Kouba
CLEVELAND, Ohio – I’m not afraid of much. Typical fear-inducers like heights, spiders and snakes are no problem for me. Two things do bother me, though. The first involves young ones who don’t know how to swim being near a body of water that is dark or murky. Panic rises up in my chest. If they accidently fall in, how will I see them to save them? Just thinking about this makes me shudder.

I truly take issue with the rationale for master’s-level graduates being able to become teachers without proper training (“Can anyone with a master’s degree teach?” May 1). However, when invited to transfer to a high school, it was an opportunity to move beyond adult education and to greater economic security.

Cleveland City Council to vote on ‘Art Modell’ ordinance
As Signal Cleveland first reported last week, the Cleveland Browns are trying to rally support behind an ambitious proposal to build a multipurpose stadium and entertainment district in Brook Park near Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. It’s an alternative to renovating its current home on the lakefront, which has limited space for all the Browns envision as its next longterm home. It’s newest proposal is also considerably more expensive, with a new stadium expected to cost more than $2 billion, twice the cost of renovating. The team has been telling people it’s committed to paying at least 50% of the cost.
