Salvation Army of Newark updates Summer Food Service Program to serve 10 sites

NEWARK — The Salvation Army of Newark has updated its Summer Food Service Program site list to include 10 locations.

Meals will be provided to all children, age 18 and under, without charge. Meals will be provided Monday through Friday, except July 4, at the following Newark sites and times from June 5 through Aug. 11.

• Yes Club, 22 N. First St.; 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
• Alive Vineyard, 7602 Stewart Road N.E.; 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
• The Salvation Army, 250 E. Main St.; 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
• Carson Elementary School, 549 E. Main St.; 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
• Coble Park, Ohio Street; 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
• Fountain Center, 357 Buckingham Ave.; 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Neal Avenue UMC, 12 Neal Ave.; 12-12:30 pm
• Christian Endeavor UMC, 1415 Londondale Parkway; 12-12:30 p.m. (June 12 to July 21 only)
• Newark Townhomes, 11 Daugherty Circle; 12-1 p.m.
• Wright Memorial UMC, 735 Mount Vernon Road; 12-1 p.m.
