Ennis chosen as Newark's new parks and recreation director

Somber reminder for work zone safety week
Just a day removed from a work zone safety awareness event in Newark, transportation officials are again reflecting on the dangers of highway work areas. Three people were killed overnight Wednesday, April 17, 2024, on I-83 in York County, Pennsylvania, when a box truck plowed into a construction vehicle, and then the construction workers. All three were pronounced dead at the scene.
