With warmer weather in effect, what adventures await you in Delaware? If you don't know, don't sweat it. I got you. The offering of entertainment events in Delaware this weekend can be used as your antidote.

Hi there, I'm lifestyle reporter Andre Lamar and welcome to the DO Delaware newsletter, an island of entertainment you can escape to that always features charming activities.

Here's what's going down this week.

Dru Hill, 112 & Next concert at UD

Sisqo performs onstage during the 2022 Essence Festival of Culture at the Louisiana Superdome on July 2, 2022, in New Orleans.

Lots of R&B nostalgia will fill up the Bob Carpenter Center when popular '90s acts Dru Hill, 112 and Next work the stage.

The concert is part of Dru Hill's 25th anniversary tour.

Dru Hill is a multi-platinum-album-selling group from Baltimore that made timeless hits like "In My Bed," "Beauty" and "I Love You."

Fans will Enter at the Dru when they tour to University of Delaware (631 S. College Ave., Newark) at 8 p.m. Friday. Tickets are $59 to $157. For more info, visit druhill25.com.

'Damn Yankees' musical, Rehoboth

How far would you go to see your favorite baseball team win a championship?

One fan is willing to sell his soul to the devil. That's the case for middle-aged fan Joe Boyd who's obsessed with seeing his team defeat a certain team in New York that people love to hate in the musical "Damn Yankees."

The Tony Award-winning show is based on the novel, "The Year the Yankees Lost the Pennant," by Douglass Wallop.

Phillies fans can cheer against the Yankees in musical fashion when "Damn Yankees" hits the stage at Clear Space Theatre Company (20 Baltimore Ave., Rehoboth Beach) at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and at 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $20 to $34.50. For more info, clearspacetheatre.org or (302) 227-2270.

Journey and Foreigner tribute band, Wilmington

Tribute band Foreigners Journey will play The Queen in Wilmington on Friday, March 24.

If it's possible to create a 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner, then surely you can create a tribute band that pays homage to two legendary groups.

That's where Foreigners Journey comes in. They dish up tunes from Foreigner and Journey with a rocking experience.

Both of these bands combine for hits such as "I Want to Know What Love Is," "As Cold as Ice," "Don't Stop Believin'" and "Faithfully."

Foreigners Journey will gig at The Queen (500 N. Market St., Wilmington) at 8 p.m. Friday. Tickets are up to $43. For more info, visit thequeenwilmington.com or (302) 400-7020.

'Bring it On: The Musical,' Middletown

The world of cheerleading and movies collided in the early 2000s. It created a cinematic baby named "Bring it On."

Inspired by that Hollywood film, "Bring it On: The Musical" will take its sassy personality onto the live theater stage.

It's full of drama, as sassy high school cheerleaders are fighting for bragging rights.

"Bring it On: The Musical" will groove its way into your weekend at The Everett (47 W. Main St., Middletown) at 7:30 p.m. Friday; Saturday; and at 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $15 students and $20 adults. For more info, visit everetttheatre.com or (302) 378-7038.
