Two trip packages include the bus trip, theatre ticket, bus driver gratuity, and a small Women’s Rights Awareness Campaign donation. Tickets for seats on the sides at the Mezzanine level are $139 or $179 for Orchestra or center seats.

Anyone looking to go can reserve tickets by emailing Rhona Koretzky, the League of Women Voters’s Saratoga County trip planner, at rkoretzky@yahoo.com. Seats can also be guaranteed by mailing a check payable to Rhonda Koretzky at 3 Longwood Drive in Saratoga Springs.

Shaina Taub, who has family ties to Saratoga Springs, wrote the musical and plays the role of Alice Paul, a suffrage movement leader. The musical also covers the generational, racial, and class divisions women fought to overcome.

Women’s Rights Awareness Campaign Chair Patricia Nugent said she believes the musical will inspire the Saratoga County community to support the Equal Rights Amendment. “Through this event, we aim to not only celebrate the progress made by suffragists but also to highlight the critical work needed to achieve full gender equality in our state,” she said.
