CENTRAL PARK, Manhattan (PIX11) – A jogger was robbed at gunpoint in Central Park early Friday morning, police sources told PIX11 News.

The robbery happened around 6:30 a.m. at the south end of the park, near East 59th Street and East Drive, according to the sources. The victim had stopped during his jog to take some photos, sources said. That’s when three suspects wearing black punched the victim and held him at gunpoint while they took his cellphone and wallet, they said.
