NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police on Wednesday released a photo of a scooter-riding suspect waned for snatching a teen girl's chain earlier this month in Harlem.
It happened at approximately 4:15 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 12, in the vicinity of West 148th Street and St. Nicholas Avenue when a 14-year-old girl was approached from behind by the suspect who snatched her chain from her neck.
The suspect then fled southbound on St. Nicholas Avenue on a moped which was being driven by a second, unknown person, authorities said.
The girl was uninjured in this incident.
