By Ken W. Hanley,
2023-06-10Let’s face it: there aren’t many more cities as famous for having a gold standard of dining as New York City.
From the incredible Caribbean flavor of Kokomo in Brooklyn to the life-changing dumplings of White Bear in Queens, New York has plenty of hotspots that foodies should add to their dine-in bucket lists.

So I’ve decided to put together a list of some of the best eateries in New Jersey that you should absolutely seek out, whether they’re acclaimed restaurants with dishes to die for or hidden gems that’ll quickly become one of your faves.

2. Jiggs McAllister's Music Saloon (Butler, NJ)
In this writer's humble opinion, you will absolutely, positively, not find any wings better than those at Jiggs McAllister's Music Saloon, a roadside bar and restaurant in the heart of Butler, New Jersey on Route 23 North. Though their entire menu is filled with excellent options, including one heck of a burger, their wings are second to none, offering a crispy outside and a perfectly juicy inside that will have you checking your calendar for your next opportunity to return.
Recommended Dish: 10-piece Buffalo wings (medium/hot) should be enough to get you hooked.
