A 70-year-old woman died after being struck by an MTA bus in lower Manhattan on Wednesday afternoon, cops said.
The woman, whose name was not immediately released, was hit just after 1 p.m. by a city bus heading south on Broadway near Union Square Park, according to the NYPD.
EMS was unable to revive her, police said.
It was unclear if the woman was in a crosswalk when she was struck, cops said.
No charges have been filed against the driver, who remained at the location, according to police.
