Suspects wanted for grand larceny in NYC

NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking information on two individuals connected to a grand larceny incident that occurred within the 33 Precinct on Friday, May 19, 2023.

The 60-year-old female victim reported being distracted by two unknown individuals near 4140 Broadway. Seizing the moment of distraction, the individuals stole her cell phone from her bag before fleeing the scene on foot. The victim sustained no injuries from the encounter.

The first individual is described as a 35-year-old male with a light complexion and a medium build, standing around 5’11” tall. He was last seen wearing a white and gray hat, a yellow t-shirt, and gray shorts. The second individual, not depicted, is described as a 30-year-old male with a light complexion and a slim build, standing approximately 5’5” tall. He was last spotted wearing a black hat, a black shirt, and black pants.
