The Rockaway Beach Irish Festival will return on the weekend of June 3 and 4, kicking off summer in New York with an excellent lineup of bands and attractions for the local community.

Taking place between 11am to 9pm on both days, the event will also feature plenty of great food as well as carnival rides and other family fun.

The lineup of bands is nothing short of stacked, featuring names that those who follow Irish music in America will be more than familiar with. Popular bands playing at the festival include The Brooklyn Bards, MacLean Avenue Band, The Narrowbacks, and The Canny Brothers.

To this day, the order's goal is to assist the newly arrived Irish in the US, both socially and economically. The organization and its divisions host events around the country that preserve, promote, and celebrate Irish identity, culture, music, dance, and sport.

For the Rockaway Beach/Breezy Point Irish Festival, there will be parking available at St Camillus Church Parking Lot, which is located at Beach 100th Street and Shore Front Parkway. The festival grounds can also be reached by taking the Q22 bus to Beach 99th Street.
