Man beaten with metal pipe on Queens street; attacker at large

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 38-year-old man was beaten with a metal pipe on a Queens street, police said Thursday as they released images of the suspect with the object.

The man used the pipe to the victim amid a dispute in front of El Canelazo, at 80-04 Roosevelt Ave., on Feb. 13, at around 1:25 a.m.

The attacker then fled on foot eastbound on Roosevelt Avenue toward 80th Street, police said.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital and treated for head and body injuries.
