Large alligators seen in London Avenue Canal in New Orleans
A WDSU viewer sent video of two large alligators seen in the London Avenue Canal in New Orleans. The viewer said the alligators were seen swimming in the canal the past few weeks. According to the viewer, there are concerns that the alligators are getting too big and may be a threat to children and pets playing nearby. WDSU reached out to the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries to see if there are any plans to relocate the alligators, but haven't heard back at the time of this publication.
