New Orleans Police are investigating a fatal shooting that took the life of a woman on General Taylor Street near the intersection with South Rocheblave last night.
Arriving officers found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds before 10pm.
She was later pronounced dead by EMS.

Just before 10am this morning, New Orleans Police reported they have taken a suspect into custody.
34-year-old Lostin Lee reported the shooting to NOPD, police arrested him on one count of second degree murder.
