A 17-year-old was shot while traveling on Interstate 10 near Elysian Fields Avenue, New Orleans police said Monday.
A gunshot wounded the victim while he was eastbound on the highway Sunday night. He made it to a hospital.
The Police Department said officers learned of the shooting at 8:13 p.m., but the agency did not immediately release more details.
