Warm and humid Thursday with scattered afternoon storms
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - Good Thursday morning. A few very isolated light rain showers are possible early this morning, mainly for areas west of I-65. Skies are partly to mostly cloudy to start the day with warm and muggy conditions, temps are starting off in the upper 60s to lower 70s. Mostly cloudy to overcast skies are expected through the day with a south wind and high temperatures reaching the middle 80s. Scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will move in from the west during the afternoon and evening. Not everyone will see rain later today, but any storms that develop can produce locally heavy rainfall, frequent lightning and some gusty winds.
