NEW JERSEY (PIX11) — New Jersey has seen an exodus of people moving out of the state in recent years.
State Assembly Speaker Craig Coughlin has proposed a plan to cut property taxes in half for most residents 65 years and older in an effort to keep people from leaving New Jersey.
Coughlin discussed the plan in the video above.
