Boil water advisory in place for nearly 2,000 customers in New Castle County after water main break
A boil water advisory has been issued for some customers in the area of New Castle County, Delaware on Sunday due to a water main break.

CLAYMONT, Delaware (WPVI) -- A boil water advisory that was issued for some customers in the area of New Castle County, Delaware on Sunday has been lifted.

Officials say that late Sunday morning, Veolia Water was alerted to a large water main break near Darley Road in Claymont.

A boil water advisory was issued for approximately 2,000 customers in the Ashbourne Hills neighborhood as a result of the break.

That advisory was lifted on Tuesday.
