NEPTUNE, NJ – This past Sunday, the Headliner bar in Neptune hosted a fundraiser to benefit Rebuilding Warriors, a non-profit organization that provides service dogs to veterans. The event attracted a large crowd, demonstrating the community's support for veterans and the organization's mission.

The Headliner, a popular local bar known for its philanthropy and ability to host large-scale events, has built a solid reputation for supporting various non-profit initiatives. Leo Ayala, a partner at Headliner, praised the importance of service dogs, stating, “Dogs are angels, so loyal, loving, and caring. The only problem is they don’t live long enough. Can Elon Musk figure out a solution to that?”

Rebuilding Warriors focuses on providing highly trained service dogs to veterans suffering from PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder), TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury), and other injuries. The organization also supports veterans who are amputees. Rebuilding Warriors carefully sources dogs from reputable breeders and provides training to ensure a smooth transition into the veterans' lives.

Cheri Russo, a Belmar resident and annual volunteer for the event, shared her thoughts on the significance of Rebuilding Warriors' mission, stating, "I understand the importance of providing dogs to veterans who have served our country. It is an honor and a pleasure to be here, and I will continue to support this event each year."

Rebuilding Warriors provides comprehensive support, including training and equipment setup for the veterans and their dogs. The unconditional love and companionship of these animals help veterans rebuild confidence and reintegrate into society, overcoming their own self-imposed limitations.

The Headliner event marked another successful effort by the community to support Rebuilding Warriors, continuing to change the lives of veterans one dog at a time.
