NJ Transit identifies pedestrian killed by train

Authorities on Wednesday identified the pedestrian struck and killed by an NJ Transit train early Sunday as a 47-year-old Neptune man.

Jamie P. Brower was hit by a North Jersey Coast Line train approaching the Spring Lake station in Monmouth County, NJ Transit said.

There were eight people aboard train No. 4795, which was the last of the night en route to Bay Head.
