Good Kids - Burlington’s Wildcats Care
TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - We’re highlighting the Burlington High School ‘Wildcats Care’ program in Good Kids this week. ‘Wildcats Care’ is a group of 17 students in Burlington who look out for each other, and for their peers. The group stocks hygiene products at both Burlington High School and Middle School for any student who has a need.

Timeout Tavern to be featured on America’s Best Restaurants in Coffey County
COFFEY COUNTY, Kan. (WIBW) - Timeout Tavern will be hosting a visit from America’s Best Restaurants in mid-May in Waverly located in Coffey County. America’s Best Restaurants officials said they are a national media and marketing company focusing on bringing attention to local, independently-owned restaurants. They will bring its ABR Roadshow to the restaurant on May 17. Popular dishes will be highlighted, along with an extensive on-camera interview with owners Richard and Amy Lira about the restaurant’s special place in the community. The episode will be aired extensively on social media channels at a later date.
