UAF Kuskokwim Campus hosts 50th commencement ceremony
FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) - On May 7, The University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) Kuskokwim Campus recognized the class of 2024 for its 50th commencement ceremony at the Yupiit Piciryarait Cultural Center in Bethel. There were 36 graduates from communities across the state, including Tuluksak, Nunapitchuk, Kasigluk, Chevak and Hooper Bay.

For Mother’s Day weekend, Risse Greenhouse presents the kid’s garden. This Saturday at Risse Greenhouse, children aged 2-10 years are given the opportunity to show appreciation for their mothers by adding to her personal garden. Children are encouraged to paint and plant their own personalized pot. Head to Risse Greenhouse from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. on May 11. You are encouraged to call ahead to reserve a space.
