Vanderbilt forward Ven-Allen Lubin entered the NCAA transfer portal with a no contact tag, On3’s Jamie Shaw and Pete Nakos have confirmed.

Lubin originally began his career at Notre Dame but transferred over to Vandy after Mike Brey left the program in 2023. In 2023-24, Lubin started every game he played and turned in averages of 12.3 points and 6.3 rebounds per game.

Back at ND, he averaged 6.2 points and 4.4 rebounds in 17.4 minutes per game for the Fighting Irish as a true freshman in 2023-23, when they finished the season 14th in the ACC and 11-21 overall, prompting the mutual separation with Mike Brey.

Ven-Allen Lubin is a former four-star recruit and was the No. 70 overall player in the nation from the 2022 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
