Titans’ Hassan Haskins allegedly strangled girlfriend after she ‘liked’ Instagram photo

Tennessee Titans running back Hassan Haskins was arrested and charged with felony aggravated assault by strangulation on Thursday after an alleged incident on June 22 with his girlfriend, according to multiple reports.

According to ESPN, citing a police report, Haskins, a second-year running back, and his girlfriend, Makiah Green, allegedly got into a disagreement on June 22 after Haskins saw that Green had “liked” another man’s Instagram photo.

Green then allegedly began throwing Haskins’ shoes on the floor, and he asked her to stop.

Haskins allegedly asked Green to stop, and when she didn’t, he pushed her to the ground, tossed her on the bed, and used both hands to strangle her.

According to The Tennessean, Green gave police photos of bruising on her right arm and cheek and a scratch on the side of her neck.

The fight continued as the two slapped each other, the police report said, according to multiple outlets.

At one point during the argument, The Tennessean reported, Green threatened to slash the tires of Haskins’ car but stopped when he allegedly cocked a gun.

On Thursday, a second incident allegedly incited more violence.
