Who is advancing to Super Regionals in NCAA Baseball Tournament? All 8 matchups

Super Regionals are best-of-three series, and game times for the second games and third games, if necessary, are determined after the first games are played. The Super Regionals are played Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Monday depending on the host site.

The Vols will play Southern Miss in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, with the Super Regional beginning 3 p.m. EDT Saturday at Pete Taylor Park. Tennessee baseball was the first of the 16 teams to punch its ticket to the Super Regionals in the NCAA Baseball Tournament.

From the SEC, Florida, Alabama, LSU, Kentucky and South Carolina also have secured a Super Regional spot, and Texas A&M was eliminated Monday night.

Here are all eight Super Regional matchups.

No. 16 national seed Alabama at No. 1 national seed Wake Forest in Winston-Salem, North Carolina

  • The Crimson Tide will play the Demon Deacons at noon Saturday at David F. Couch Ballpark in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, with a game on Sunday, and Monday if necessary.
  • Wake Forest went 3-0 in the Winston-Salem Regional to advance.
  • Alabama won the Tuscaloosa Regional with a victory Sunday night over Boston College.

Texas vs. No. 8 national seed Stanford at Stanford, California

  • The Longhorns will play the Cardinal at noon EDT Saturday at Sunken Diamond in Stanford, California, followed by a game Sunday, and Monday.
  • Texas went 3-0 in the Coral Gables Regional to advance.
  • Stanford defeated Texas A&M on Monday night in the Stanford Regional and advances.

No. 12 national seed Kentucky at No. 5 national seed LSU in Baton Rouge, Louisiana

  • The Wildcats will play the Tigers at 3 p.m. EDT Saturday at Alex Box Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with a game Sunday, and Monday if necessary.
  • Kentucky beat Indiana on Monday to win the Lexington Regional.
  • LSU beat Oregon State 13-7 on Monday to win the Baton Rouge Regional.

Tennessee at Southern Miss in Hattiesburg, Mississippi

  • The Vols will play the Golden Eagles Southern Miss in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, at 3 p.m. EDT Saturday at Pete Taylor Park, with games on Sunday, and Monday if necessary.
  • Tennessee went 3-0 to win the Clemson Regional.
  • Southern Miss went 4-1 to win the Auburn Regional, including an 11-7 win over Penn on Monday.

No. 15 national seed South Carolina at No. 2 national seed Florida in Gainesville, Florida

  • The Gamecocks will play the Gators at 3 p.m. EDT Saturday at Condron Family Ballpark in Gainesville, Florida, with a game on Sunday, and Monday if necessary.
  • South Carolina went 3-0 in the Columbia Regional to advance.
  • Florida beat Texas Tech in the Gainesville Regional final on Monday to advance.

Duke at No. 7 national seed Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia

  • The Blue Devils will play the Cavaliers at noon EDT Friday at Davenport Field in Charlottesville, Virginia, with a game on Saturday, and Sunday if necessary.
  • Duke beat Coastal Carolina on Monday to win the Conway Regional.
  • Virginia went 3-0 in the Charlottesville Regional to advance. The Cavaliers will host the Super Regional.

Oregon vs. Oral Roberts at Eugene, Oregon

  • The Ducks will play the Golden Eagles at 8 p.m. EDT Friday at PK Park in Eugene, Oregon, with a game on Saturday, and Sunday if necessary.
  • Oregon won the Nashville Regional with a victory over Xavier on Sunday.
  • Oral Roberts won the Stillwater Regional final with a victory over Dallas Baptist University. The NCAA will decide this week the host of the Super Regional.

No. 14 national seed Indiana State vs. TCU at Fort Worth, Texas

  • The Sycamores will play the Horned Frogs at 5 p.m. Friday at Lupton Baseball Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas, with a game on Saturday, and Sunday if necessary.
  • Indiana State went 3-0 to win the Terre Haute Regional and advance.
  • TCU advanced to the Fayetteville Regional final with Sunday's win and routed Arkansas, 12-4, for the second time in two days Monday.
