A man is accused of raping a woman as she fed her baby inside a Nashville park last week, authorities reportedly said.
Ryean L. Floyd, 24, has been charged with aggravated rape and aggravated kidnapping after he allegedly attacked the victim in the back of her car in the parking lot Thursday evening, according to news reports, citing an arrest report.
The two, who knew each other, met in Shelby Park earlier in the day along with the child, according to the police document obtained by WSMV. When it got late, the victim went to her car, but before leaving, she began to feed her child.
Floyd then allegedly approached the mother, lifted her skirt and forcibly raped her, the arrest report states.
The woman can be heard pleading with the suspect to stop, and her baby can be heard crying, according to an audio recording of the attack that lasted five minutes, police said, according to WSMV.
Floyd is charged with aggravated rape and aggravated kidnapping, according to jail records.
His next court date is June 12.
