Grim photos of children being ushered out of a Nashville school after a mass shooting Monday eerily echo scenes from the Sandy Hook massacre more than a decade earlier.
Children were guided out of the Covenant School in a single-file line after sources said 28-year-old Audrey Hale killed three kids and three adults before being shot dead by cops.
Photos of the heartbreaking formation evoked the Sandy Hook slayings, where gunman Adam Lanza fatally shot 20 children and six staffers before turning the gun on himself.
The December 2012 rampage in Newtown, Connecticut became the deadliest school shooting in the nation’s history.
A woman who worked across the street from the private Christian academy in Nashville told CNN that she knew something was amiss Monday after seeing police cars screeching up to the school.
Jozen Reodica, a staffer at Shearwater Health, took cellphone video of the traumatized tots being shepherded to safety.
“It all happened so fast,” she said.
The first shots rang out at 10:13 a.m., and the assailant was dead by 10:27 a.m.
Police have yet to specify a motive for the tragic attack, as they continue to probe surveillance footage from the incident along with the suspect’s background.

President Biden has already condemned the incident, arguing that rampant gun violence was tearing at the nation’s fabric.
The Nashville shooter was armed with at least two assault rifles and a handgun, cops said.
